So we went to some little town somewhere about 90 miles south of Mosul. And i decided to go walk around the market and see if there was anything interesting. To be honest i did not expect to see people killing and cutting up animals. Now i have no idea what the differance is between a sheep, lamb or a goat but i do know it was one of the 3. and i know that its pretty disterbing to watch them cut the poor thing open and take out all its insides. that and the smell was kinda nasty.

really interesting looking creatures, they are.... all of the colors and patterns are something else. You'd never guess it when you just see them out in your yard. It's something you have to really get close to them to see.

This city is situated in Yemen, Hadramawt region, at the bottom of the wadi (seasonal river). It's also called "The Manhattan of the desert". All these houses are real and built with mud-bricks. The highest one has eight storeys, others have four to seven storeys. Some buildings are dated by 15th century. This is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Looks like installation. But this is real wall with small window. People in Shibam may use very different stuff for constructions. This one is made of cans and mud.

The banks of the lake in Udaipur are home to all manner of happenings, including bathings and washing. I loved the fact that the buildings stretch up to the sky and this view shows a real slice of Udaipur life.
