Thousands of people gather in a village in Tamil Nadu, India, on 21st January 2006 to celebrate a festival of bull running. Bull running takes place in many villages around the time of Onam, the Tamil new year. The bulls race through the street and prizes are awarded to the best decorated and fastest bulls. Male onlookers attempt to slap the bull's rump as it runs past.
